Act 2 is CYANIDE GEMS
Familiar faces, familiar energy but a new project we are excited to share with you. Cyanide Gems are a mix of British and Spanish musicians, who write, compose and perform primarily in Barcelona and the UK. They first formed their duo in 2018 and have worked with various musicians since then, combining musical styles of electronic dance with rock, punk and blues and powerful female vocals. Once upon a time the core duo in the band Foxiloro-- a band we hosted some time back.
At this present beautiful moment, performing and producing as a duo (and also as a band) Cyanide Gems was formed in 2022 to create a live sound for their songs that can be interpreted into an electronic rock set or more heavy rock when part of a live band as in the newly released singles.Lyricists and musicians Coral and Albert have been composing together and performing since 2017 and forming parts in various other live rock bands. This allows them to combine the elements of rock punk and blues with electronic riffs and dance beats to remix the rock style yet maintain the best elements.
Cyanide Gems have released four singles on Spotify and are currently working on completing the album, As The Crow Flies.

Act 3 is CALUM BUSBY
Calum Busby is a songwriter and performer from Edinburgh, Scotland based in Barcelona. Calum blends his Celtic Indie Rock stylings with a scathing wit that takes a self-deprecating sideways glance at current social issues and the quirky contradictions that often inhabit them. His songs are full of passion and vulnerability, often bouncing from moments of raucous intensity to dulcet tranquility in just a strum of the guitar. Calum’s influences are rooted in the genres of Alternative Indie Rock and Folk. His lyrics borrow from the soulful yet irreverent energy of artists such as Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen and John Lennon while tapping into the cinematic and hair-raising stylings of more contemporary acts, including Wolf Alice and The Last Shadow Puppets.
