ACT 3 

THE MOTHERCROW

The Mothercrow is a band influenced by 60's and 70's rock, based in Barcelona. The influences that define the sound of the group goes from blues and psychedelia to early 70's heaviest rock. We first experienced their stunning energy 2 years ago in Sala Upload. Their song  "Revolution" has been on our Next Concert Playlist in YouTube for quite awhile now, and here we are...sharing a tightly kept secret-- about our longstanding dream to return to our Rock roots.  Revolution is from their album Magara (2019) , showing that the almost inactivity forced by the pandemic had not made a dent in the band's creative songwriting and pwerful arrangements.

To celebrate The Mothercrow accepting our invitation, we proclaim we must do a theme. We know you love dress up as much as we do: It's Spring Break Groovy Hippie Night, people...let's welcome this band in style!

ACT 2 

DYLAN CLOUD

Dylan has commenced the EP Recording Plan...He started with one of the songs he has sung for you in the last 2 stage appearances. For now, be content with Straight On, Buy it, Stream it, Playlist it.

Four iur new guests: Dylan Cloud dropped a single. “Straight On” is a genre-bridging track. It inherited some fuzz from funk. Some of its edges got sharpened, then scraped jagged, from stripped-back punk. He threw some wit into it that he stole from the garages of rock duos with cheap cleverness. Then he glued it together with some get-up-and-groove from reggae. Over the top he poured some noise from his metal side. Then, because I don’t think that a rock and roll musician can escape Robert Johnson (and Dylan leaned into it on purpose), “Straight On” has more’n a little mud and dust from the delta blues mussing it around the edges.

Taken altogether, “Straight On” is the kind of track that, if you wanted to, you could use it as a history lesson, and learn something about what rock and roll is, if you can figure out what rock and roll is, which I haven’t yet.

At the same time, like all the best tracks like that, you can forget about the analysis and just bop along to it without thinking about anything at all.
