Every now and then we find ourselves gravitating towards an artist, or a group of musicians, because their vibe goes beyond epic performances and eventing.

Cristales Rotos entered our periphery not too long ago. With excellent musicianship and riffs reminiscent of Police and Roxy Music, it's a soothing kind of Spanish Rock. We really like them as people too--Always a bonus.

At the heart of the Spanish rock scene, Cristales Rotos does not stand alone. Music has always been about connection — between artists, audiences, and generations — and we believe as they do that the strength of rock lies in the community that sustains it. They created this format of two bands playing two separate dates together. In one night, one band finishes last when they play; and on a second date the other band finishes last. So not quite just one band being an opener forever, and egos are set aside to create that vibe. Bands bring in very different experiences, but when they are united by rock and are totally immersed in that sense of community: that's when magic happens.

Sharing stages, influences, and respect with other bands is part of what keeps any music scene alive.

Two dates to keep in mind to catch Cristales Rotos:

17 January in Sala Or : Cristales Rotos feat. Supergatos

31 January in Hard Rock : Cristales Rotos Solidarity Initiative with Pasquale Maragall Foundation. Feat. Luz Verde

Supergatos: Vintage Energy, Modern Attitude

Formed in Barcelona in early 2021, Supergatos embody the raw spirit of classic rock and roll with a sound that proudly channels the 70s and 80s.

Made up of Arnau Arís (bass), Adrià Botam (guitar and vocals), Josep Mercadal (guitar and vocals), and Christian Siria (drums), the band delivers high-energy performances powered by full-volume tube amps and a vintage aesthetic that instantly connects with audiences.

Their songs are infectious, danceable, and unapologetically loud — the kind of rock that reminds you why live music matters. Supergatos represent a new generation keeping the essence of classic rock alive in Barcelona today.

Cristales Rotos deeply values that energy — the kind that turns music into shared experience.

Luz Verde: A Rock Story That Crosses Continents

Luz Verde is a band with history, depth, and a legacy that spans continents. Formed in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1995 and now based in Barcelona, Luz Verde has been shaping rock and roll for decades.

After releasing their first EP in 1998 and their debut album Cinema Cero in 2000, they quickly gained recognition, winning the Sol Dorado Award for Best Rock Band in Venezuela.

Their second album, Rocanrol (2003), followed shortly before the band relocated to Spain, where they continued to build a loyal audience through relentless touring and live performances.

With features in Rolling Stone and thousands of records sold independently at shows, Luz Verde stands as a powerful example of perseverance, authenticity, and commitment to rock music over time.

More Than Music: Collaboration and Community

Cristales Rotos is a band built on collaboration — not only between its own members, but with other artists who share a love for rock and a belief in music as something meaningful.

From sharing stages to sharing values, they see music as a space for connection, solidarity, and growth.

That same spirit guides their broader initiatives, including a collaboration with the Pasqual Maragall Foundation, where music becomes a way to support causes that matter beyond the stage. The mission? A world without Alzheimers. Check it out and donate €5 to help!

Bands like Cristales Rotos, Supergatos and Luz Verde remind us that rock is not about hierarchy or competition — it’s about community, history, and pushing forward together.

The scene is stronger when we build it together.
